What is a Card Supplier?
Synonyms:None
Definition
A Card Supplier (卡商, kǎ shāng) refers to an intermediary who possesses a vast resource of bank cards. These cards typically do not belong to the supplier themselves; instead, they are obtained from ordinary individuals (commonly known as "strawmen" or "money mules") through various means such as purchasing, renting, or deception.
Core Function
The primary role is to solve the "deposit" and "withdrawal" issues for gambling platforms. Since legitimate banks often block or freeze transactions related to gambling, platforms must utilize thousands of private bank cards to break large sums into small, scattered transactions. This method helps them bypass Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring.
